We are arriving a couple of days early for our tour in June and planning our sight seeing for that time. On the Day 2 walking tour of the Barri Gotic, does the tour group go inside the Barcelona Cathedral?
We have are going on to the Heart of Portugal tour after Spain. Was there an opportunity for a drop off or pick up laundry of a bag of clothes during the tour for a reasonable cost? We will do small items in our room, but will want to have shirts/pants etc cleaned along the way. We would prefer to avoid the higher cost of the hotel service that charges for each item.

I did this tour in 2010. I recall we went into only part of the Cathedral because I believe there were some kind of services underway. I visited on my free day (I arrived early) and was glad I had made time to go inside. The geese in the cloister are fun to see. Not sure what day of the week you start your tour, but the La Boqueria market is closed on Sunday (and when I visited, on the Monday following for a holiday). So make sure to visit on your free time if your time there includes a Sunday. Sorry can't help with the laundry question, but I suspect you can probably have it done in Sevilla before you head to Portugal.

If the Best of Spain ends in Sevilla . . . There is a self-service laundry about a 2-block walk from Hotel Amadeus (RS uses it often). You can also drop off and pick up there. I don't think there's an additional charge for drop-off. The hotel also has a service (could even be the same laundromat), I don't remember how much but it was probably at least twice what the laudromat charged. If you PM me, I'll look up the details - address, hours. I last used it 4 years ago.
