I am exploring the idea of driving from Barcelona to the Atlantic Ocean over a two week time period. I am looking for an itinerary or other suggestions. We enjoy hiking more than cities, and will want to be in both Spain and France. It would be best to be in a location for a few days before moving on. Ideas?
Does that mean drive along the Pyrenees over to the Bay of Biscay only, or over to, for example, Cape Fisterra, the westernmost point in mainland Spain and on the Atlantic Ocean?
Nope. Mostly we are interested in the mountains and are viewing ending up near the Bay of Biscay only as an ending point.
I know there are a number of hiking area in Ordesa y Monte Perdido National Park. Some friends of mine stayed at Edelweiss Hotel Ordesa Torla when they did some hiking.
