Public Transportation and Taxis to/from Picos de Europa

Hello!
In planning my September trip to the Picos de Europa, I have found it difficult to fully understand the public transportation options.

I was informed by a hiking/travel guide website that I can take a bus from Santander to Unquera (I confirmed this on Alsa), then a taxi from Unquera to Las Arenas, where I'll be starting my week long hike. At the end of the week I would like to get from Las Arenas to a coastal town, perhaps Llanes or San Vicente de la Barquera (*open to suggestions!). Here are my questions:

-How easy is it to get a cab in Unquera? Do I have to arrange this ahead of time or call a company or are they just...around?
-Same question but for getting a taxi from Las Arenas to a coastal town. I'll be leaving on a Saturday and I see on Alsa that there are no buses on Saturdays to Llanes. Therefore, it'll have to be a taxi. It's such a short ride (~45min to the two aforementioned towns), so I would hope this isn't a big ask.

*Please note that I do not want to rent a car. I would have no idea where to safely stash it for a week on top of it being a waste of money. (I'm hiking village to village).

Thanks for any help!

OK try this:
Go to google maps in the search box search for Arenas de Cabrales: The map of the pueblo will have 3 different bus icons. Click on the uppermost one: a box will come up scroll down to the busses link: click on it... it will show several different options. Repeat the process on the other icons for other options. It does look as though there is bus service directly to Llanes. If you can get to Cangas de Onis. You can definitely get to Llanes. Hope this gets you started, you're probably gonna have to dig a little deeper but it can be done. Love the Picos

This is a time and place for which you need to do a lot of pre-trip research. Congratulations on getting an early start. I have no specifics to help you, just a warning that some of the public transportation into the Picos de Europa area is seasonal, and September is not in season. I ended up having to loop back to Santander in early July because the once-a-week bus tour I wanted to take didn't run in June. Public buses weren't running the full route until July, either.

You might contact the tourist office in Santander to see whether it can help with the names of any taxi companies in the Picos. Try the same with any T.O. you can find in the park area. Maybe there's an office in Potes.

@acraven Good idea to contact the Santander tourist office!

As for buses, there is a bus from Santander to Unquera on Sept 1, which is when I'll be using it. And for future viewers of this post, the bus between Las Arenas and Poncebos runs from June to Oct 15 ( https://en.asturias.com/how-to-do-the-cares-route/ ). The issue is getting from Unquera to Las Arenas. I'm going to email my hotel in Las Arenas to see what they have to say about taxis to and from Las Arenas. I'll report back!
