We are looking to travel December 2026 to Southern Spain and take day trips from Malaga to Granada, Gibraltar, Tangiers, Ceuta, and perhaps a taste of Andalusia (olive oil tasting etc). There will be about 10 of us. Any recommendations for a private guide?

I run a private day-tour company in southern Spain, so here are a few practical tips from experience: book Alhambra tickets well in advance — they can sell out months ahead. Gibraltar and especially Tangier/Ceuta add border-crossing and ferry logistics, so those days need careful timing. Olive oil tastings in the countryside are fantastic and work best as part of a tailored private tour.
Putting these into efficient day trips from Málaga is doable, but it’s worth working with a guide or company experienced with groups of your size and with cross-border arrangements. Make sure they offer full-service planning (transport, tickets, ferry schedules, and handling customs) so you don’t have to worry about the details.
