We will be taking a RS tour to the Basque region & after that tour ends we want to go to Bordeaux. There is no easy way to get to Bordeaux from Bilbao except by bus & the reviews are terrible on Blablar car bus & flixbus. We are looking at a private driver to take us from Bilbao to St Jean de Luz where we can take the train to Bordeaux. I’m looking for any recommendations on private drivers. I used Find Transfer & they came back with 2 quotes that were significantly different. Has anyone used Sercolux car service? Their quote was 255euros & Biarritz Airport transfer was 400 Euros. Does anyone have any experience with either of these companies or can recommend any other service?

The Euskotren can take you from Bilbao to Hendaye where you can get the train to Bordeeaux.

There is an easy way to get to France from Bilbao, but you will not find it on the usual rail planning website because reasons...
So just take the Euskotren service to Hendaye, and a train to Bordeaux from there.
