Will be in Seville for one week in Sept 2023 and wish to book a private driver to take me and traveling companion to various villages rather than renting a car. How does one go about doing this?
Secondly; has anyone booked a trip from Seville to Alhamabra and been really happy with the guide?
I booked private drivers in Spain - primarily because we needed transportation to places that trains, etc, didn't go on the schedules we wanted.
We booked a rental car for driving through, among other places, the White Hills towns.
If you're concerned about driving in Spain you shouldn't be. It's a very easy country to drive - especially in the country. The only twist is parking in those small towns -- but not all of them... And Rick's guidebook addresses how to park in the owns where it's a little more restrictive. Only one town was a real challenge, and it was simply a matter of parking in a pubic lot outside the old town. If you're hauling luggage, getting a cab is a snap. If you're not hauling luggage getting a cab is still a snap -- or you could walk into the old town.
