my question where should we stay as a base to explore the others??

For the first three in the list Nerja would work. For the last two either one would work since they are very close together. All the towns are small and won’t take long to see.
When looking for lodging, consider the Paradors in Nerja and Jávea.
You don’t say when you will be traveling, so be advised that many of the small coastal towns essentially shut down after tourist season. That means fewer shops, restaurants, and hotels to choose from.
I’m not sure how frequent busses/trains go to those locations since you were asking about those in your other post.
