I plan to visit the Prado museum next month with my 2 kids age 10 and 7. Wanted to check if a guided English tour on the Prado museum website is worth it. How long is the tour? Do we need to purchase guided tour for the kids too or is it free?

Something that has been helpful for us with kids at other museums is to look into whether a kids activity kit is available at the museum (typically some kind of treasure hunt) or a kids book available at the gift shop when you enter or to ordered delivered in advance new or used (like this one the Prado https://tiendaprado.com/en/books/5579-mateo-at-the-museum-a-trip-to-the-prado-9788493982348.html)
When I took my children to Spain when they were 11 and 14, they were completely bored with the Prado. We cut that visit short so as not to further torture them. We had been there previously and have been since, so we didn’t miss anything.
I traveled with kids under the age of 10 and found that after 15 minutes at a museum they wanted to leave.
Not much you can do about it, since you probably can't leave the kids at your hotel.
We did the Prado and had a tour in English, not sure how much your kids love art.
