Post tour ideas and travel back to US

My wife and I are scheduled for the Best Of Spain starting October 1, 2022. The tour sounds amazing! We ‘d like to make the most our travel time by leveraging our ending location in Seville.

We are hoping for some guided tour recommendations from Seville. Ideally, some culturally focused experiences that provide transportation. Local flavor is always the best.
We just want to relax and enjoy the small things that have brought us such pleasure in the past.

Lastly, I’m hoping for some recommendations for travels back to the east coast from Seville. It doesn’t seem like the best place to fly out of. Hopefully to the NYC area (back to central PA).

Thanks in advance for all the great insight.

No it is not the best place to fly out of. Flights are limited and the timing may not work to connect to a flight back to the USA. At least for us, on the west coast, it does not.

so maybe work your way in a relaxing way back to Madrid and fly home from there. You can visit Cordoba, which we loved. Train connections are very good between Sevilla, Cordoba and Madrid.

That's what I did two years ago after the tour -- another night in Seville, two nights in Cordoba, and a few more in Madrid before flying home from there. The trains were easy. Another few days would have let me see more of any or all of those cities. Sorry I don't know about local guides or tours beyond those RS provided (Concepcion Delgado in Seville was outstanding).

I highly recommend spending at least one night in Cordoba before you leave. You may want to spend the last night in Madrid to be close to the airport if you have a morning flight.
