Does anyone know if there is a post office at the airport in Barcelona that would mail package? We are attending a wedding in BCN and would rather not haul the fancy duds around the rest of Europe. We leave too early to stop at the post office near our apt in the city and it is a Monday so we can’t do it the day before.
There are supposedly post offices in Terminal 1 floor 2, and Terminal 2B floor 0. I was unable to find if packages could be mailed. A couple sites said they are mail boxes only.
There is a post office at Carrer de Dolores Ibarruri, 38, 08820 El Prat de Llobregat, Barcelona, Spain a couple kilometers from the airport. Its hours are weekdays 7:30am-3pm, closed on weekends.
¡Cuidado con Correos!!!
Sending a package to the States via the Spanish post office is only slightly less risky than mailing a package to Spain via Correos. There is a very good chance you'll never see those fancy duds again.
I'd suggest you look at one of the private luggage shipping services, such as luggagefree or sendmybag
@scudder - and I had hoped its reputation would have gotten better since I lived there. Fortunately I was able to send things via the postal service on a military base and didn’t need to use the Spanish system.
jaimeelsabio- I've had quite a number of postcards go missing in just the last couple of years and heard countless stories about packages.
The other way around, I sent my friend a card three weeks before his 49th birthday in May of 2022. He was more than halfway to 50 when he got it in January of this year.
