Hello, tomorrow we leave Granada to Ronda by auto and we’re looking for any suggestions of nice hikes, vistas,or small towns where we could get some lunch. Also if you have any lunch recommendations we would love to hear them. As always thanks for the advice.
About half way along your route, Antequera is a great town, we're planning to return for the third time this March! Nearby is El Torcal Natural Park - fantastic - but only if the weather is ok, can be cold and windy up there. If not, there's a lot to see in Antequera itself.
On our first trip to Antequera we discovered Meson Casa Diego where the Solomillo de Retinto is superb ( as well as a lot of other dishes). It's not a 'fine dining' place though. We loved it. They also do tapas, different every day, if you sit at the bar. If you sit at a table there's the menu. We're looking forward to going back there in March too!

PS Archidona is an option, too. Less of a detour from the main road- but I haven't been there yet. Looks interesting
A few places I have saved to visit the next time I’m in that area are Castillo de Iznájar, Fuente De Los 100 Caños, Castillo fortaleza de Archidona, Reserva Natural de la Laguna de Fuente de Piedra, and Antequera.
Thanks for the great advise. Unfortunately they are having strikes in Spain now by the truckers on the autoways and the farmers on the secondary roads. The Autoway between Granada and Ronda was shut down for hours.
I hope you still managed to get where you wanted to go and to enjoy your day
