Can the Picasso Museum in Barcelona really be sold out for June, July & August? or are tickets not yet available?

The Barcelona Picasso Museum sells online tix beginning four days in advance of the day of the visit. So, you can only buy an online ticket for May 5 beginning on May 1.

We were the last June and bought them. Easy.

Hmmm, that's not what I'm seeing. On the museum website you can currently purchase tickets all the way through May, but then June, July and August, all have orange "not available" squares as opposed to not yet activated like September. Can anyone speak to that, please?

I've never seen any suggestion that the Picasso Museum in Barcelona sells out far ahead of time. Can it be sardine-like? Yes. The problem is the potential for miserable crowding once you are inside, not that tickets sell out months in advance. If you have only one narrow time window when you can fit the museum into your schedule (I am well aware of the need to prebook a lot of things in Barcelona), you're smart not to wait until the day before your anticipated trip to the museum to buy an online ticket, but you don't need to worry now.
