phone number format on renfe train purchase

I am trying to purchase a train ticket on Renfe. Can someone tell me the correct format for my telephone number? The system will not let me purchase until I get the correct format - not accepting 1+ and the 10 digits!

It is the simple stuff!

Try either "+1 XXX-XXX-XXXX" or "01 XXX XXX XXXX"

OMG 1+ worked - I had tried the 1+ before, so not sure why it did not work the first time - needed the forum fairy dust! Thank you!
