Personal recs for local guides/drivers

Hello -

If you have any personal recommendations for walking tours/tour guides in Jerez, Cadiz, Sevilla, Arcos, Cordoba, Toledo or Granda, please share names/contact information. I already have RS books/self-guided tours info, but I like to know someone on the ground who enjoys sharing the things they love about their town.

Thanks!

On Rick's reccomendation booked the Seville Walking Tour through http://sevillawalkingtours.com/product/city-walking-tour/
Excellent tour from Jose a local historian with a great mix of local flavor, tips and suggestions and history of the city mixed together. Would recommend highly and I trust their other tours are as good.

Also took a tour of the Italica Roman Ruins outside Seville with Tour Itálica. The start was a little rocky because of multiple pick-ups and limited information but the tour itself was generally good. Confirm your pick-up instructions. location and time.

The tour included a partially restored Monastery of San Isidoro del Campo outside Seville that was really fascinating but you would never see if it weren't for this tour and some glimpses of life outside Seville. I mostly arranged the tour because public transportation to the site was difficult and I wanted to see it but the tour added some local color and history.

I'm not generally a "take a tour" kind of traveller but the walking tour was very insightful and added depth to the history of Seville.

Have a great time,
