We are very interested in attending a Pelota and/or Jai Alai match while we are in Bilboa 11/12 to 11/14. Any information on where those matches are held and if tickets are readily available would be appreciated.

We are also interested in the same pelota and/or Jai Alai. We are traveling and staying in Bilbao May 8 through the 15th 2026. My father’s family was from Spain and played professional Jai alai abroad and in this country. would like to see the Guggenheim and Guernica. We are not interested in a fast paced tour would like a more leisurely pace and a knowledgeable guide. Any thoughts? Suggestions?

It´s early yet for the 2026 official calendar of matches of both Pelota (manomanista) and Jai-Alai, the winter series will end in February next year and by that time the full calendar of both sports will already be published. Gernika frontón (Basque spelling is much more widely used than the Spanish one, Guernica) will host quite a few Jai Alai matches.
