Hello,do I need a pcr test 24 hrs before travelling to spain,as I had covid 19 at xmas but have since recovered,just having a covid 1
9 recovery certificate will not be acceptable.thanks kenny betts

Hard to answer your question since you don’t say when the trip is. Entry guidelines can be found on the U.S. embassy page. I doubt you’d need a PCR test within 24 hours since the results generally take longer to come back. You may want to get one within 3 days of departure for piece of mind, or a doctor’s document saying you’ve recovered. Right now, no tests are required to enter Spain.

You don’t need a test to get into Spain. But you will need the COVID recovery document to get back into the US.
