Parking for S. Dali house in Cadaques?

I recall that there is a paid parking lot within walking distance to the house. I'm not going to be very good at describing the location, but it's about a five minute walk. When we got there, the sign said 2 euro fee to park, but there was no attendant. We parked there, anyway (not a great decision) because we were running late for our entry time. Relieved that the car was still there when we finished the tour, an attendant was there and we paid before leaving.

Thanks. Looking at the Google map street view, it seems that the “Pàrquing descampat gratuït” must be the free parking mentioned by RS.
