We're considering spending a couple days in Palma de Mallorca while on our 3 week trip to Spain. I've not found much info regarding this city (or island) on this site. Has anyone been? Any tips to share or sites in particular you loved?

The Cathedral in Palma is outstanding. I'd also recommend visiting the villages of Deia, Valldemossa, and Porto Pollenca.
You'll need a car. The drive along the coast is beautiful.
We LOVED Majorca, but we didn't stay in Palma! We stayed in Cala D' or and adored the beaches the town the food everything! Google for images of this adorable seaside town! At very least rent a car and visit area, drive along coast. Majorca is so much more then that city!
We had never been before, but we would go again in a heart beat!
