Overnight train from Madrid to Lisbon

Has anyone here taken this ride? I found a schedule online, one that may or may not be correct. It had stops happening every hour or so, some just 2 minutes long. That does not sound like it makes for good sleep, which is why I ask.

Would love to hear if you have taken this train!!

Thanks

I haven't taken the train. Ten to 11.5 hours with multiple stops even on the hotel train was not worth it for us. We flew Lisbon to Madrid in about 1/3 the time counting everything. Here are some comparisons from Rome2rio.

I did the trip 20 years ago and it was far from a comfortable experience. I’m sure the service is better now however.

I haven't taken it, either. To compare flights, try www.skyscanner.com. The motion of the train doesn't bother me much but starting and stopping could cause more of a jolt as well as noise from brakes and whistles (bring ear plugs). This is the train schedule through May 28, 2018:
