Need help finding information an overnight train from Barcelona to Granada. Specifically, how to make reservations? Date is June 1, 2017. Thanks!
The only night routing I see is a convoluted one taking 15 hours. You change trains in Madrid and in Seville. There's a 6-hour layover in Seville (from 12:10 AM till 6:30 AM--sheer misery). I assume you'd have to book the trip in segments since it's such a sub-optimal mash-up. I think you need to look at other options.
Vueling has non-stop flights from Barcelona to Granada with both evening and early-morning options. Check skyscanner.

They stopped the overnight train when work began on the rail line to Granada. I doubt it ever returns.
The easiest way to get from Barcelona to Granada is to fly.
Indeed, it hasn't been a night train to Granada for years! Right now, if I'm not mistaken, there are two fast AVE trains departing at 8ish in the morning and reaches Granada at 5-6ish -including one change in Antequera (?)- and another one departing at 3ish pm reaching Granada before midnight. Check out the train operator, Renfe for specific details.
Thanks so much - no wonder I couldn't find the night train! That's sad - I love overnight trains.
