Opinions on Hotels - Andalusia and Madrid

We have a trip planned for Sept 15-30 and have tentatively selected the following hotels. If anyone has knowledge of these, I would appreciate feedback.

Conil de la Frontega - Garbi Costa Luz
Seville - Hotel Rey Alphonso X
Cordoba - Casa le los Azulejos
Granada - Casa del Capital Nazari
Toledo - Almunia de San Miguel
Madrid - Hotel Preciados

Stayed at the Hotel Preciados in Madrid back in May, really enjoyed it. Great central location, nice spacious rooms. Wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

On our first trip to Seville we stayed at the Rey Alfonso X, Seville’s top hotel. It is a beautiful hotel filled with Andalusian tile work , and it’s in a beautiful setting.

We have stayed at the Preciados twice, and loved it. It's interesting that you are going to Granada but not staying in Ronda or a less-touristed town in that area. I personally don't go to Europe for a seashore visit, but Conil looks attractive. I am not certain I would change hotels an extra time to stay in Toledo, while I would want to visit, certainly. I'm suggesting that six hotels are a lot for ... exactly how many "nights on the ground?"

Are you renting a car? Seville: I don't know the Rey Alphonso X, but it seems below my usual budget level. There's another, more luxury hotel with a similar name. Alphonso X seems to be near the Hotel Las Casas de la Judería, which we used in 2005. It was an attractive old mansion, but a little tired. Air conditioning was important to us on that summer trip.

We have 15 nights in Spain. Renting a car when we land in Seville to drive to Conil. While there we plan to visit beaches the some of the white hill towns - Arcos, Ronda, etc. Everyone seems to recommend staying a night in Toledo. Also the Ray Alphonso X in Seville is a 4 star hotel with a 4.5 rating.

So 4 nights in Conil, 3 nights in Seville, 1 night in Cordoba, 2 n nights in Granada, 1 night in Toledo and 4 nights in Madrid.

Awesome itinerary! We visited all the places you mention except for Conil. We stayed in Malaga which we loved. Can't comment on your hotels but just wanted to say you will have a wonderful vacation!
