Online Alhambra ticket purchase

My daughter and I are heading to Andalucia in March and have just booked our entrances to the Alhambra - both day and night (we will be there several days). I read all I can find here (as well as Rick's book) and advice from this forum has been invaluable on many occasions.

So I wanted to post about what I was having trouble with and couldn't find tips about. I used the website http://www.alhambra-patronato.es and purchased my daytime tickets with no trouble. My Cap One card went through fine and found my ticket confirmation in Spam (thanks for info!) However when trying to purchase my night visit tickets in exactly the same way, the link on that page did not work. After searching trip advisor for help also, someone suggested this link and it worked perfectly. Both went through TicketMaster.

Thanks for the link. I know some people have reported having trouble buying tickets online, I think it took me two or three tries.

BTW, what part of Texas are you from? PM me if you don't want it public. My DH is from Texas, and he still has family there - rural area between Decatur and Denton. And some of our RS travel friends live not too far from there, as well.

We also have family in Houston, the San Antonio area, and Austin.

I get so much help from others here that it's nice to know I can share a little help also! Maybe we'll see each other in Granada in March! Ha!

When I picked up my tickets at Corral de Carbon, there was a short waiting line. I remembered to bring the same credit card used to purchase the tickets. Must have it to redeem the tickets. It was by far the most complicated and time consuming way that I know of to purchase and print a ticket!

Hahahaha! I will have the same credit card but good to know to expect complicated! We will make sure to not try it with a deadline looming!
