If you had less than 24 hours in Barcelona with a morning flight out, what would be your go-to hotel? Due to flight changes, we will be unexpectedly in Barcelona for 1 night in October. We will arrive at noon at the Sants train station and will depart the following morning on a 9:20am flight. We'd like to use our very short time to see a few highlights but having never been to Barcelona before, I am struggling with the best area to book a hotel for such a short stay (there are so many options!). We'd like to get a taste of the city, but be near the metro or other easy access to the airport in the morning (or would a cab to airport be easier?). Under $150 is ideal but for only one night we will consider more if the location and access back to the airport is easiest. Thanks in advance for any advice. Although flight schedules are a mess right now, we are excited that it's giving us a chance to see Barcelona and get ideas for a return trip in the future!
