One last question

Thank you everyone for all of your great advice and suggestions! I just have one last question for you all before I leave to Spain next week and that is your favorite places to eat in the cities of Madrid, Seville, Granada and Cordoba. We are trying to stay as budget friendly as we can but don’t mind splurging on a meal or two. Thanks again!!

We did not have any "splurge" meals in Madrid, but we had a very enjoyable evening at the Mercado San Miguel. Numerous tapas, some wine, and great conversation with other travelers while sitting at a communal table for several hours.

Cordoba has a similar food market come boutique food stalls - Mercado Victoria.
As I am an 'early bird', I ate out at lunch - typically from a menu del dia - so no dinner recommendations.

Are you going to Segovia? Their specialty is roast suckling pig (apologies if you are vegetarian) and Segovian cake (soo good). Several restaurants offer this during lunch time or dinner.
I enjoyed a nice lunch near the Archeological museum in Cordoba, but that was as much atmosphere as anything. I think it was a Sunday, so good people watching and there was a guitar player that was a joy to listen to.

Cordoba: we ate at random places so I can't comment on specific restaurants but the dish to get is Salmorejo. It's a thick and creamy tomato soup that I eat as a dip for my bread. Don't care for gazpacho but salmorejo is delicious. Also, it's not for everyone but there is a caracoles (snail) stall at the park near the Victoria Mercado that I love.

Granada: El Trillo near San Nicolas square. Lovely food and service.

Seville: Gusto for seafood paella, Churros y Patatas for morning churros.

In Madrid, Chocolateria San Gines near the Plaza Mayor/Puerta del Sol for churros and chocolate.

Hey Ksameena111
Hope you are having success with the packing! I have three days to go before my trip to Spain and thought I would check in on the board. I am so excited! and looking forward to some warm weather - this winter has been awful here in the midwest.
