We are finishing a 14 day mediterranean cruise arriving
in Barcelona on October 27th.
We arrive at 8am. We fly home to Toronto the next day.
I'd like to know if there's a nice hotel you'd recommend.
Pretty sure we will be exhausted and just want to relax.

We are doing a cruise from Barcelona to Venice next May and I have the same questions. My travel agent gifted me Rick Steves Mediterranean Cruise ports book which is a great resource. What website do you use to book hotels in Spain and what are the favorite sites in Barcelona? We are planning 3 full days there before the start of our cruise.
The H10 hotel chain has some nice hotels in Barcelona. We stayed in H10 Madison which is pretty much directly across the road from the Palau de La Musica Catalunya (incredible). Our hotel had a lovely rooftop restaurant/bar and pool and we had a wonderful early morning walk around the Gothic Quarter before the large tourist groups arrived.
We flew home around 4pm so spent the morning just wandering around before heading to the airport.
We stayed five nights at the H10 Catalunya Plaza boutique hotel. Join the hotel club and you will get the best price and maybe free breakfast.
It would be a shame to be in Barcelona and not visit Sagrada Familia! We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Praktik Rambla. It was convenient to everything, room was lovely and staff were gracious. It is not a fancy place with a club or a pool, etc., but croissants and coffee are available in the morning and there is a small garden out back to relax and sip a glass of wine.
