Northern Spain - Kirk Fallout, Hurricanes

Next Thursday I am set to arrive in Asturias for a week of coastal villages and hikes in the Picos. I will be based out of Cangas de Onís.

Was there any infrastructure damage, flooding, etc from Kirk that would impact my activities? Also, is there anticipation that hurricanes Leslie or Milton will reach Spain next week?

Since my trip is nature focused, I’m worried about the potential for severe weather. I have about 48 hours to cancel my current Airbnb and enact a plan B, which would be to visit Extremadura instead, where my plans would be more weather tolerant.

Thank you.

There is no way at all to know what will happen to Leslie and Milton. They could blow themselves out in mid Atlantic or take a more northerly track over the UK or Iceland.
Especially Milton, still in Florida.

It's only a few days since there were all sorts of dire warnings about Kirk hitting the UK. Instead it has taken a far more southern track than almost any forecast expected and the UK is basking in unseasonably balmy weather, rather than the snow and cold snap some had predicted.

In Extremadura now and it’s been getting its fair share of rain, so check forecasts before changing your plans.
