Northern and Southern Spain 3 weeks itinerary

Hello, me and my wife will be arriving in Madrid and departing from Malaga in September. In total, we have 22 days to explore Spain. Is this a feasible itinerary and would it be too rushed for the length of our trip? How can we improve it if so? Thanks!

Madrid 3 days (rent car on last day and return at Bilbao)
Salamanca 2 days
Oviedo 2 days
Llanes 5 days (base to explore coastal/ Picos de Europa walks)
Bilbao (visit San Juan Gaztelugatxe and return car at airport)
Seville 5 days (catch a flight from Bilbao to Seville)
Ronda 2 days (rent car from Seville and return at Malaga)
Granada 3 days
Malaga (return car and catch flight)

The Picos de Europa town of Potes is lovely--old stone houses and a litle river. It seems to be one of the local centers for active tourism. I was limited to public transportation but still found the Picos area great.

I didn't go to Llanes, but I did enjoy quick visits to a number of small coastal towns in the Basque Country. The Cantabrian countryside is also beautiful and dramatic.

This sounds like a great trip.

Indeed, this does sound like a great trip.
Other ideas might have been ...
1. Train from Madrid to Santiago de Compostela, picking up your hire car here.
2. One less night at each of your long stays (Llanes and Sevilla) to allow for an overnight stay pre your departure flights from Bilbao and Malaga.
