So many websites , and it's all a bit overwhelming. Our family of five is on a budget, but we have six nights in Barcelona in early August. Would like to stay in the Old Town or close to it. We're looking to spend in the neighborhood of 150 to 175 euros a night. Has anybody had a great experience or place they can recommend with high confidence? Thanks much

Try www.bcngotic.com Absolutely the best. They rent many apartments in a nice building in a wonderful location. We stayed in a three bedroom two bath twice for a total of 6 weeks. Perfect location in old town on pedestrian street, on site, helpful and kind English speaking management, very close to a metro station, elevator, washing machine, weekly rates, long stay discount. I can't recommend it highly enough.

Just wanted to say thank you for your help. It was very kind of both of you. We were able to find one that we are happy with. I have been to Spain before (Madrid, Toledo, Seville, Ronda, Nerja and Grenada), but this will be the first time in Barcelona, the first time with extended family, and the first time renting an apartment instead of booking a hotel.
