Hi, has anyone been in Madrid or Toledo on New Year's Day? Any suggestions what to do since all major attractions seem closed? Thanks!

Hi. If you don't get any replies via this site, try Trip advisor's Madrid and Toledo forums. There is a guy named Benny from Malaga who pretty much can answer any Spain related question. My wife and I will be in Toledo and Madrid for the first time Christmas week but we will fly out before new years day. Good luck and have a great trip.
