The 4 of us can't make up our minds and people say the coast is boring if we're not golfers which we're not. What about this; also we don't mind long drives to see as much as we can!
Arrive Madrid & drive to Porto
7 Nights Porto
2 Nights Lisbon
7 Nights Quarteira
12 Nights Malaga
3 Nights Madrid
Any suggestions on B&B's in Lisbon & Madrid; we have condo ideas for the other areas?

I'm not sure when you're planning the drive to Porto, but if you're all flying in that day, I would not want to start driving to Porto sleep-deprived and jet-lagged.
Have you gotten a guidebook to Spain and Portugal from your local library or bookstore? There are many wonderful destinations in both countries.

See as much as you can? What do you want to see? Malaga for 12 nights sounds plain loco to me. You could probably see all the sights there in 3 days without rushing.

There must be a reason you have kept in the 12 days for Malaga. Care to share it?
I personally prefer the other itinerary cities, but that's just me.

No reason, just trying to have a month itinerary so I keep changing where we're going to stay in each area. I have changed this itinerary a few times and posted it under another subject. I should have kept it to one site but it was getting long.
