I have not gone to Seville or Madrid before. Planning 3 nights in each. Would like to select a decent hotel, maybe 4 out of 6 stars, easy walking distance to the tapas bars, flamenco performance, and the Alhambra.
Planning to read Rick Steve's book about this city and region to select some paid tours or excursions. I hope it won't be over say 85 degrees F, August 29 through Sept 3!

The Alhambra isn’t in either of the cities you mentioned. You’ll be lucky if the temperature drops below 85 degrees in August. I suggest you conduct some research on where you want to go and come back with focused questions.

I would actually assume it will be over 85 in Seville, but not sure for Madrid.

The Alhambra is in Granada and not an easy daytrip from Seville...
Though I assume Viator may offer something. I would just take one night from either Seville or Madrid and do it as a one night stay.
