Need help with ordering cities in itinerary

Hello.

We would like to spend time in Barcelona, Madrid, and Seville for about two weeks. We plan to travel via train once we arrive from San Francisco. I know that ideally, we include Madrid Airport as a departure or arrival city along with Barcelona Airport. But, if we just fly in and out of Barcelona Airport (so we can do nonstop on United), what ordering would you recommend for visiting the three cities? I know we may need to do an extra train trip in there. I hope this is enough information.

If you’re flying in and out of Barcelona, then land in Barcelona, head straight for Madrid, then Seville, then finish in Barcelona for however many days you intend to visit it. Instead of a train for that long Seville-to-Barcelona leg, perhaps a cheap flight might be worth considering.

Is the train station close to the Barcelona Airport with fairly frequent trains? The flight we are interested in arrives 2pm local time.

Also, would you recommend a train from Seville to Barcelona or the high speed trains from Seville to Madrid and then Barcelona (one stop)? We prefer to minimize flying if possible.
