Museum Pass in Barcelona

There's no museum pass per se in Barcelona as most museums are private owned/run. Having said that, for some years there has been a program called ArtTicket which allows purchasers to enjoy six of the most important art museums in the city: http://infocatalonia.eu/w/UfEVJ You can purchase the card of this program at the Tourism Offices (and I believe at the ticket booth at the participating museums!)

Additionally, there's something called Barcelona Card which provides discounts to certain attractions as well as free rides on the public transportation system (bus/metro/tramway) and other advantages in shops and restaurants. It's however not convenient for every visitor as it is expensive, most of the discounts are rather symbolic and also the majority of the most important attractions don't participate in this scheme -for the reason stated above: they're privately run and they're always busy without needing to make discounts.
