Morning Train from Seville to Jerez

I am trying to get to Jerez from Seville to see the horse show on June 19th but the earliest train seems to be 11am which arrives after the 12 pm show starts. Are there not any earlier trains from Seville or is our only alternative to rent a car and make the drive?

Thank you!

Deborah, there appear to be some morning buses on this route, that take a little bit longer than the train trip. If you go to Rome2Rio.com and put in Seville to Jerez, it will give you links to the bus companies and schedules.

Deborah,

It looks like the train schedules have not been released for the second half of June yet.

There are definitely earlier trains departing from Sevilla with destination to Jerez de La Frontera; just check on the Renfe website and choose any Tuesday this month (or up till June 12) to get an idea of the times available.

Have a great trip!

As Priscilla says, trains only show up on the site when they are offered for sale. Renfe is sometimes erratic - most trains will show up about 62 days in advance, some will show up weeks earlier, and then there are some - usually the one you want - that could only appear a couple weeks in advance. Schedules don't change much.

Yes, just wait- its not released yet. We recently took the train to Jerez and had the same situation. I was able to get on the 9:45am train which was perfect. You also might like to check out the bus. Its fairly similar in price and length, but the bus station is closer to barrio Santa Cruz-easily walkable rather than a cab to the train station. I couldnt find the info online about the bus schedule so we took the train. On our return trip we took the bus- the bus station is right next to the train station in Jerez- we walked in and bought our tix home.

Thank you all so very much! I booked other train tickets for our trip using Renfe and I was aware of it's "issues":) . I will continue checking over the next couple of weeks.
