We are traveling from Barcelona to Montserrat by car on our way to another destination.
Does anyone know if we can purchase tickets for the rack railway in Barcelona or can we only purchase them once we arrive at the Monistrol de Montserrat station? Also, is there a ticket required for entrance into Montserrat?
Is there one location in Barcelona that we can purchase tickets for all sites (i.e. Sagrada Familia, Park Guell etc.)?

Just buy the rack railway tickets at the station when you arrive. Or drive up and park on the mountain. You can always take the rack railway higher up if you want the experience.
No ticket is required to visit the site. There are, I recall, specific things that require a ticket but just wandering around and visiting the church is free.
You can buy most tickets in one place - the internet. But no, there is not one site or ticket window for those sites.
We bought our transportation tickets to Montserrat from the TI in Barcelona. Very convenient!
