We are a family of 3 visiting Montserrat on 28 Oct.
We would like to listen to Escolania and I have been checking availability regularly.
Right now the official website has tickets till 8 Oct.
Most dates are completely sold out.
Some websites like Tiqets.com are selling non refundable tickets at high premium (E29 per person) available till Nov 7.
Are these unofficial websites tickets actually valid?
How can these websites that are selling tickets at high price able to obtain tickets when devotees and common people cannot?

Yes, normally their tickets will be valid.
Because Tiqets probably maintain wholesale commercial agreements with tourism authorities, they often have pre-allocated calendar slots, allowing you to see availability and lock in bookings well before the general public calendar opens on the Official Montserrat Tickets Portal.
Problems start when they gamble or "speculate" that they will successfully secure the tickets during upcoming general sales, presales, or through other supplier networks.
Tiquets only sells non-refundable tickets.
I have no idea whether this specific case involves a 'commercial agreement' or 'speculation'.
