Looking to spend 4 nights in Sevella in March. Looking for moderate priced, clean hotel, doesn't have to be fancy.... Your suggestions? Thank you. Karen
We stayed at Hotel Amadeus the last time we were there and enjoyed it. It’s a short 4 minute walk to the cathedral from the hotel. A quick check for mid-March shows prices around $155 a night.
If this is for the last week of March, I suggest that you do some preliminary research on booking.com while awaiting responses here. That's a very, very busy time in Andalucía, and the recommendations you get here may turn out already to be full.
We stayed at the Hotel Becquer in October 2017 and couldn't have been happier with our choice. The location is convenient and slightly removed from the busy center. We walked everywhere. The included breakfast is outstanding.
We were very pleased with the Hotel Amadeus a couple of years ago. Very good breakfast and especially enjoyed the roof top deck/garden on the annex.
I've been to Sevilla 3 times in the last 5 years, stayed at the Amadeus every time. Great location, great staff, period furnishings but modern bathrooms.
We stayed at the Hotel Derby for several nights last year and really enjoyed it. Good location and easy to get to by bus or taxi. 10 minute walk to cathedral. Reasonably priced, clean, large rooms and modern bathrooms. We had a wonderful room overlooking the square. Very nice and convenient breakfast that you can add on for a reasonable price. Lots of places to eat near by.
Thank you to all who replied, I appreciate your suggestions! Karen
