My husband and I plan to make a day trip to Granada from the house we are renting in Iznajar. We plan to drive and park in the Alhambra parking lot. After we tour the Alhambra, it seems like (based on Rick's 2010 book) that we might be able to hop on one of the minibuses (maybe #32) for a tour of sorts before heading back to our car. As I read it, it seems like we might be able to leave the bus at the San Nicolas view point and/or the Albayzin and then get back on the bus for a return to the Alhambra entrance/parking lot area. Has anyone done anything like this? Is it possible to get on and off the bus a time or two, paying another fare, and then ending up back at the Alhambra? It almost sounds too convenient to be true. Any advice/experience suggestions will be appreciated. Thank you, Velda

The urban bus network, the numbering and routes changed about half way through last year.
What you propose is certainly feasible, but I believe will mean taking one of the minibuses from the Alhambra entrance, get off to connect with a different minibus in the vicinity of Plaza Nueva, to get you to the stop which, I think, is just below the Mirador.
