Michelin Restaurants in San Sebastian

Traveling to San Sebastian next year. Has anyone experience any of the Michelin Restaurants there? We would like to try one. Need to know what might be the most reasonable and worth the experience. Oh, and how far do you book in advanced?

Any suggestions or recommendations?

Thank you,

We did not go to any Michelin started restaurants when we were there but good friends did. They had lunch at Arzak and said it was a wonderful experience. I believe lunch is a less expensive option.

In 2013, we ate Restaurant Martin Beresategui, probably the best dining experience, and best meal I’ve had. We’ve been to several Michelin places, all outstanding, but this is the very best. It’s a short drive south of San Sebastián itself, and we drove there and back for lunch. Dinner would’ve been even pricier. A taxi would probably be possible, if you weren’t driving.
