Medicine while traveling in Spain

We will be traveling to Spain in July. I am recently on Forteo which is an injectable for Osteoporosis. It needs to be kept "refrigerator temperature" cold. Unlike other medication that can't get hot, this needs to be kept cold. Any suggestions how to accomplish this while traveling in southern Europe where refrigeration and ice, etc., can be tricky?
Thanks so much!

You can purchase insulated travel containers specifically designed for refrigerated medications. Amazon has different models. Medical supply stores should have some as well. Mine was similar to an insulated lunch box. It contained a rigid plastic ice pack which maintained its cold even on a transPacific flight. Make sure that any apartment you rent has a freezer compartment in it's refrigerator, so you can refreeze the ice packs. If staying in a hotel, make sure your room has a refrigerator that will keep your meds cold enough, or ask them to store it for you in their fridge. Also label the ice pack and ask them to keep it in their freezer. I've never had a hotel refuse to accommodate my request.

I now travel with a medication that needs to be kept cold.
If the hotel does not have a mini-bar (most of the ones I'be stayed in do have this,) I ask the hotel to store it in their kitchen refrigerator. I've never had an issue with this.
