My spouse and I are going to be in Barcelona May 1 (May Day or Labor Day). We understand many sites will be closed so we thought going to Montserrat would be a good idea — and we confirmed it’s open. Question: will Montserrat be overrun with visitors because of the holiday or is it a good day to visit? We planned to spend one day of our trip there, anyway.
