I'm now planning to return to Marbella this November, this time to VISIT MY GRANDDAUGHTER who is due in approximately 4-5 weeks from now!!! Yaaay!!
I had a wonderful trip traveling around Andalusia and found Marbella to be my least favorite of the places I experienced (flew in/out of Madrid - Cordoba, Granada, Marbella & Seville. Marbella was stuffy, new/fancy and I like the ancient ruins and funky, narrow roads vibe a lot more!). I'm seeking folks that may know the general Marbella area and have suggestions for districts/regions to stay at please? Old Town seems appealing to me - I'm planning on focusing on spending time with my family and bonding with my granddaughter so I'll be trying to stay at an Air B-n-B that I'll be able to cook at and possibly have my granddog spend the night. I'll also want to rent a car from the airport in Malaga so suggestions for cheapest rates are sought as well.
