Mallorca… worth (2) nights??

Mallorca is a popular cruise ship destination. Why do you want to visit Mallorca? I could see if you were sailing in and out of there but hopping on a plane for two nights sounds busy.

Mallorca is worth more than two nights, there's too much to see in such a short time. To put it in perspective I've been visiting the island for almost twenty years (going again for two weeks at the end of May) and I still haven't seen it all. Admittedly my trips consist of a mixture of sightseeing and pool time, leisurely lunches etc so they're not the frenetic sight, sight, sight whirlwind approach that many short duration visitors take but even so, two nights is seriously short changing the island.

Since the only way to get there is by plane or boat, taking up the best part of your arrival and departure days. Mallorca is not worth it for two nights, that is too much travel for one day. Either devote 4 nights, or seek somewhere a short distance from Barcelona.

Zaragoza is on the way to Madrid, if along the coast, then there are lots of towns. I like to keep travel to under 3-4 hours, so if your next planned destination after Barcelona is further than that, look in that under 3 hour range.

Having so much to see on the peninsula, I wouldn't go to Mallorca (you have to take a boat or plane)
