We’re arriving at Malaga airport after a tiring week in Morocco.
Any suggestions for itinerary in Malaga?
Or should we head out to Granada?
Transportation options?
Thanks 😍
The Malaga Cathedral is nice (although not spectacular) and the Picasso Museum is worth a visit (Picasso was born in Malaga). Granada is much larger and the Alhambra is truly amazing. These two cities aren't exactly comparable, but I love them both.
Malaga is nice but it is no Granada. We stayed at the AC Marriott in Malaga-- walking distance to everything -- and loved it.
I would choose Granada over Malaga. The Alhambra is amazing! How many nights do you have? We also really enjoyed Malaga. We loved the Cathedral, the Picasso Museum, walking to the top of the Alcazaba. Along the way, you enjoy ruins, exotic flowers, lush greenery, patios, fountains and stunning views of the Mediterranean. Walk along the seaside promenade.
So, if you have time for both cities, visit both. If you only have time for one, visit Granada.
You can take the train or the ALSA bus from Malaga to Granada.
