Departing from Barcelona on a Wednesday am. Trying to do Malaga / Seville / Algarve caves and return to Madrid on friday or have my son (who's flying into Madrid )- just come meet us in Seville as we're all headed to Mallorca on Sunday (and both of my children have been to Madrid- do I need to see it..?.) Is it feasible (w/ luggage in tow) to do El Caminto Del Rey then get to Seville for the night on Wednesday night? Shall I skip the Algarve Caves in Portugal (the one thing I didn't get to see on my Portugal trip a few years back)? Should I rent a car from Malaga to get to Seville on our own? Should we stay overnight in Malaga and just do 1 night in Seville? Then spend a few days in Seville area and head to Mallorca on Sunday to meet up w/ husband. All over the board on a plan?
That's kind of a lot to process, but I guess theoretically you could fly from BCN to Malaga on Wednesday, pick up car and Thursday do El Caminito, Friday drive to Algarve/Saturday see caves, drive to Sevilla and drop car. I thin one or the other is more realistic. You likely need to be in whatever town you will take boat tour to the caves from in the early morning.
I don't see any direct flights from BCN to Faro, only to Malaga and Sevilla (also Jerez).
Sunday all fly to PMI out of Sevilla?
I’d skip the caves. If driving, it’s a 3 hours drive each way. There are better ways to spend your very limited time. Focus on what’s most important to you to visit. You may find that some of the nice to visit places aren’t all that practical to get to.
