Malaga Enterprise Car Return

We returned our Enterprise rental car at the Easy lot about 3 years ago at 4AM. The lot is just north of the airport and they gave us a ride to the airport from the parking garage. When we got to the lot they told us to park the car on a certain level of the parking garage. I believe it was the top floor. Lots of very tight turns and ramps, because cars were parked at the curves and on the ramps. We took lots of photos and a video of the car once we parked. Since it was dark, one of us used the flashlight on our phone to shine on the car while the other took a video and photos. We did not have a bad experience just want to protect ourselves to prove that when we parked the car there was not any damage, since we had issues in another country in the past. The formal checkout of the car did not occur when we dropped the car.

The Easy lot address is Av. del Comandante García Morato, 20, Churriana, 29004 Malaga. Just north of the airport terminal. I do not see the lot on Apple Maps, but it is marked on Google maps.

Good to know. Thank you for the address and knowing it’s a garage. It was hard to find this information online. So when you went there was a shuttle still available to go to the airport?

The shuttle only operates during business hours so it won't be available during the early hours.

An alternative would be to drop the car off the day before and spend your last night at a hotel near the airport. By doing that you wouldn’t be looking for a parking lot in the dark in an area you’re unfamiliar with. There’s a Parador about 2.5 miles from the airport.

The Enterprise lot is off site on a side street near a large traffic circle, so it can be confusing. Use Google maps street view to visualize the area. We rented from Enterprise in Málaga this past May.

With returning the day before, even an Uber or taxi from town would be cheap, no need to relocate if you already have a place in Malaga. My preference anyway would be to return the car when there are people there to accept it, verify condition and get a receipt.

All I can think of is a future post that goes..."We were told by someone to leave the car here, but instructions were unclear....they said there was wheel damage and a chipped windshield...etc."

Easy parking ran a shuttle to the airport when we dropped our Enterprise car at the Easy Parking garage at about 4AM. We were only the only people on the shuttle and it left right after we handed over the keys.

Enterprise does open at 4am on Sunday, so we returned it there instead of Easy Park (but enterprise is next door to it). We dropped the car off at 4:15 and got to the airport in under 10 minutes and had plenty of time for bag drop, security and customs.

This was much easier process and a smaller airport than larger places (like LAX, Heathrow, DFW) but we are glad we got there early in case there were any hiccups.
