Hi we are booked for Barcelona & Madrid tour June 1-8.
Considering arriving 3 days early to spend on Majorca (fly over).
We are hoping for a easy relaxing 2 night stay there. How is transportation on the island? Any thoughts? Suggestions for a beach resort? Thanks in advance.

Transportation on Mallorca is excellent- there is a big underground bus (and train) station in Palma and the buses run frequently. Pollenca (in the north) was my favourite beach. There's also an old fashioned wooden train that goes from Palma to Soller which is a very fun and scenic ride, and links up with an old fashioned tram to travel further onwards to the beach at Port de Soller.
