Madrid train station closest to airport

I am booking train travel from Sevilla San Justa station to Madrid and need to know what station in Madrid will work the best for getting to the Hotel Nuevo Boston near the airport.
Thanks!

If you're taking the fast train, the AVE, it goes only to the Puerta de Atocha Station, so you have no choice about that part of your journey. If you plan to continue immediately to the airport to pick up transportation from there to your hotel, you'll find Cercanias trains departing from a different set of platforms at Atocha ("Atocha Cercanias"), destined for Madrid-Barajas T4. I don't know whether you can buy the ticket all the way to the airport from here in the US or whether you even need a separate ticket for the local train to the airport. I know the AVE tickets are said to "include" the local link, but I don't exactly what that means. I'm sure someone else has done what you want to do and can help.

I fiddled around with the Renfe website and had no luck getting it to show that connection.

Thank you for your reply which is almost what I need. I used the RENFE site and the date of departure from Seville San Justa to Puerta de Atocha Stn. and got the response of NAN NAN NAN in the blanks for the date entry I had made. The same thing happened when I used the destination station of Chamartin.
What does the NAN NAN NAN mean? How can I proceed to get my reservation?

What's your travel date? It may be too far in the future.

My travel date is 25 April, 2017 If this is too early, when should I try again? Because of the Easter holiday, I've been advised to make reservation well in advance and I have a flight to take the next day from Madrid.

Tickets for the AVE trains usually go on sale through the RENFE website around 60-62 (give or take a few) days in advance.

I know an AVE ticket from Puerta de Atocha to Santa Justa in Sevilla includes a ride on a Cercanias train from the airport to Puerta de Atocha, so I would assume it works the same way in reverse. There is a code on the AVE ticket that you enter into the ticket machine for the Cercanias trains to receive your ticket for the Cercanias.

Sandra,

The Renfe website is showing tickets for your route up to April 18th, so you will be able to book your ticket for April 25th in a few days, just keep checking.

In order to get to Hotel Nuevo Boston by the Barajas Airport, all you need to do is take the train from Sevilla to Atocha train station in Madrid, then transfer to the Cercanías line C-1 which will take you to the airport (Terminal 4 ).
Once you arrive to Terminal 4, find the hotel's courtesy shuttle and take it to the hotel.

Your AVE ticket (Sevilla to Madrid) will allow you to ride on the Cercanías train for free. You can read the details of the Combinado Cercanías ticket here.

Have a wonderful trip!
