Madrid & Toledo during October 12th holiday - worry about museum/ site closures?

Hello dear fellow travelers,
I am traveling solo to Madrid and Toledo during the October 12th "Hispanic Day" national holiday - includes a Monday.
Do I need to worry about museum and site closures and reduced train schedules?
In my 13 day itinerary I have been planning to take the AVE train from Seville to Madrid on Saturday October 12th, then see Toledo as a day trip on Monday October 14th.
I fly out to Lisbon Portugal at 9:55pm on Tuesday Ocotber 15th.

So I have basically 3 days in Madrid;
Sunday October 13th

Monday October 14th
Tuesday October 15th until 6:00pm for 9:55pm flight.

I would LOVE your feedback. Here are my questions;
Should I rearrange so I can travel up from Seville on the AVE on October 11th?
Is the military parade worth seeing or mainly better to avoid as a crowd maker?
Can I see the main sites in Madrid and Toledo in those dates (October 13-15) considering the holiday and Monday?
Should I switch my Toledo trip to Sunday October 13 because the royal palace is closed on Mondays in Toeledo?

I SO APPRECIATE any feedback you have!

Blessings,
Venus

Hello, in general for the October 12 holiday, most museums are still be open, but many people/locals will be out and about, so you can expect some crowds, public transportation should be running normally, albeit more busy. Now I have not been in Madrid during the National Day, but the main thing there is the large Military Parade through central Madrid, attended by the King + other big shots. The Parade showcases the variety of different Spanish Military Units, the biggest crowd pleasers are the Spanish Legion (like the French one) and the Moroccan Regulares.

Just some tips

All major museums and tourist sites have a website (Google the name of the place you want to visit ) where the hours and closings are listed, and generally offer a way to buy the tickets online.

The earlier you book AVE trains the lower the price; however there is not set time when RENFE posts train tickets for purchase in advance, sometimes you have to check everyday or sign up for an alert when the route you want is for sale.
