Madrid to airport in a.m.

Hello- Has anyone used a company that can pick us up at our hotel in central Madrid in the early a.m. (0400) and drive us to the Madrid airport in time for a @06:00 a.m. flight? Thank you for your help.

George,

You can always have your hotel call a taxi for you.

There shouldn't be much traffic at that time & it will take about 20 minutes to the airport.

There is an airport shuttle service, a minivan that will pick up at various hotels. Ask at your hotel, they can arrange for it to pick you up. The lovely gentlemen at the front desk of my hotel were of the opinion that it wasn't terribly reliable, and if it wasn't there at the promised time, they planned on calling me a taxi. It was there right on time, there was virtually no traffic at that hour, and it was a pretty quick trip. Ask at the desk of your hotel -- they will know the best way to go, and can arrange it. (I had a 6AM flight as well.)

Thank you both. I was planning to use a taxi as a back-up plan. I'll look on0line to continue my search for a recommended shuttle company. Any other input will be appreciated. - George

We were in Madrid a few years ago and used a taxi from Hotel Europa on Puerto Del Sol at about the same time. At that time of day, Madrid is absolutely dead. Maybe we saw three cars. Taxi had us there in 20 minutes. Don't remember the price but think it was less than 20 Euro. Why use anything else?

Ask as the front desk of the hotel...Aerocity Van will be a good choice to and from the airport. I have used them in the past.
